Today, the stylish Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 100m Master Chronometer is a tribute to Omega’s dive watch heritage. This model is equipped with a wear-resistant sapphire glass mirror, a black ceramic dial with Arabic numerals and a calendar window at 3 o'clock. The 39.5mm stainless steel case is equipped with a black ceramic unidirectional bezel with Omega Liquidmetal™ diving scale. Other design features include a cogged screw-in case back and a stainless steel bracelet with Omega's patented extendable folding clasp. This timepiece is equipped with the Omega 8800 Master Chronometer movement, and the operation of the movement is clearly visible through the transparent case back. In order to obtain the Master Chronometer certification, the watch has passed eight rigorous tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
